Guest Blog – Lisa Nicolosi Photography
North Fork Weddings and South Fork Weddings member photographer Lisa Nicolosi captured a simply beautiful wedding at the Suffolk Theater in November 2017, and we just had to share.
The happy couple met at a Tom Petty concert, and it seems that music has been the center of their lives. They used many opportunities to showcase their love of music and especially the late, great Tom Petty, from the cufflinks worn by the groom and his father to the dance selections and beyond.
When love and joy are present, Lisa Nicolosi has a remarkable ability to capture it, bottle it, and make images that will become the treasured keepsakes of the wedding couple and their families for years to come. She understands that it’s the details that matter in photography, and most especially weddings!
Lisa hits just the right notes when she combines photojournalism and fine art photography, and the results are, well, magical. Click on over to her blog to see the fabulous images and learn more about the wonderfully unique ways this couple incorporated their love of music into their wedding celebration.
Their journey together may have just begun, but it looks like they will savor every minute of it. Kudos to Lisa Nicolosi and congratulations to the newlyweds!
By the way, this event turned out to be a collaboration of a few members of the North Fork/South Fork Weddings network, and thanks to Lisa we have a chance to show them off to you. The floral arrangements were the work of Kim Jon Designs, Rev. Sarah Margaret of Lasting Footprints was the officiant who made things legal, and the reception was at the beautiful Suffolk Theater – an “art deco gem,” in Lisa’s own words.
