East End Experience is owned by Marguerite Schondebare, a resident of the East End of Long Island New York her entire life.
In the course of operating her Southold Bed & Breakfast in 2002, she discovered that visitors needed information about events and weddings and that there was no way for them to find it. Having been involved with all facets of community life, Marguerite realized that she had the sort of information only someone who has lived in the community for so long would have and she wanted to share this "insider's perspective." Hence, she created "North Fork Weddings, Ltd."
The company quickly became the most popular and comprehensive resource not only for brides, but also for corporations and individuals wanting to hold an event on the East End of Long Island New York. Since that time, she has added three additional sites, South Fork Weddings, East End Celebrations, and East End Experience.

These sites are the only sites that treat the East End of Long Island as a total entity having a wide spectrum of resources and reaching the sophisticated and educated traveler and consumer. Her pride in her community and in her corporation has guided her to present only those businesses meeting the highest standards of integrity and quality of service or products. Her belief that "The East End is not just a place; it is a state of mind" is a primary factor in the company's success and continued appropriate growth.
