On your wedding day, you're walked down the aisle only once, you say your vows only once, and you have your first dance together as man and wife only once. There are no second takes available to a videographer and that is why it is imperative that people recording this most special day be experienced, professional, and talented. As a family owned business, Victoria Richards and her son, Erick, are all these things and more. They take great pride in their work and are acutely aware of the trust their clients have placed in them. When they showed me one couple's video DVD, their enthusiasm and affection for the couple were evident. So was their creative sensitivity. The DVD started off with an image of photos of the bride and groom from their childhood through their dating days and was accompanied by music that set the tone. Photos of the big day began with the bride in her home before the wedding. She was wearing sweats, a t-shirt, and her veil! Playfully, she twirled about and gradually, her everyday clothing turned into her wedding gown. It was a Cinderella moment. Sound is equally important for videographers. Grooms are equipped with wireless microphones during the ceremony and the quality of sound is clear, with no background noises interfering. Throughout the DVD the real time voices and music continued to be of equal quality and when appropriate, the looped in music selections added to the beauty of the finished product.
