An elegant Colonial house built in 1860 by the Jagger family -- one of the earliest English settlers to Southampton -- and now the home of Christopher and Kimberly Allen, A Butler's Manor combines a sense of tradition with the comforts of today.
A Butler's Manor takes its name from Christopher's profession. A proper British butler with over 20 years experience, Chris has run estates in both Europe and America. The personal service that is the hallmark of his profession, along with Kim's attention to detail, will make your stay at A Butler's Manor an experience in hospitality you won't soon forget.
A full breakfast begins your day. Early-bird coffee and tea is available outside your door so you can enjoy a cup first thing in the morning. Served on fine china and crystal, Kim's sumptuous breakfast in the dining room (or, on warm summer days, outside on the porch overlooking the rose garden) will more than prepare you for a day of enjoying all that the Hamptons have to offer.
The five guest rooms are named and decorated for five of the estates Christopher managed during his career in service. Each has a private bathroom, individually controlled A/C and heating systems, TV/VCR, free in-room sherry from Crystal decanters and wireless Internet capability. After a day in the Hamptons, you can relax by the pool at possibly the most beautiful and comfortable spot in Southampton.
