About Hallockville Museum Farm
Description
Hallockville Museum Farm and Folklife Center is located on the site of the Hallock Family Homestead. Its earliest buildings were built in 1765. The Museum Farm is interpreted to the dates 1880-1910.
Our mission is to connect community and visitors to our shared agricultural roots by preserving, interpreting and celebrating eastern Long Island's history, oral history and cultural heritage relating to traditional farm occupations and activities. Located on Sound Avenue, a New York State designated Historic Corridor, Hallockville is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Visit our grounds and restored buildings, tour the museum and stop into our gift shop. Say hello to our Jersey cows Stella and Hallie.
Are you getting married or planning an event? Be sure to consider the Naugles Barn. Built in 1938, the barn has been completely restored for use as an event facility. Complete with warming kitchen, tables, and 1500 square feet of space, the Naugles Barn offers a beautiful and authentic country setting for weddings, receptions, dances, and many other events.
For outdoor events, Hallockville has one of the best views on the North Fork. Enjoy the surroundings of our 18th-19th century buildings and 28 acre farmstead. An event tent is also available.
