About Sears Bellows County Park
Description
Located on Bellows Pond Road in Hampton Bays, Sears Bellows County Park extends for 693 acres. It has 200 feet of beachfront on Bellows Pond, a freshwater lake, and is currently owned and operated by Suffolk County. It also includes:
-A bicycle hostel area.
-Individual and group campsites (groups must reserve).
-Rowboat rentals.
-Playground.
-5 1/2 miles of bridle paths.
-Freshwater fishing.
-Waterfowl and deer hunting (in adjacent park).
-The Big Duck
Fees:
-Residents: $3.00 (Senior citizens and handicapped are free on weekdays, except on holidays).
-Nonresidents: $8.00
Directions:
Take Sunrise Highway until Exit 65. Head south on Route 24, then west on Montauk Highway. Finally, head north onto Bellows Pond Road.
